Exam Results 2022

Warriner students celebrate superb ‘A’ Level & GCSE success

Students, parents, and staff were celebrating a wonderful set of exam results at The Warriner School today.

Sharon Nicholls, Head of School, responds to the results –"Congratulations to all Warriner School students who received their GCSE & A Level results this summer. After a very turbulent and challenging two and a half years, our young people showed real resilience in the face of adversity and achieved amazing results in their exams."

As a staffing body including teachers, support staff and Governors, we would like to congratulate all our students, especially as both sets of results are evidence of such positive achievement for our students and enables them to go on to their next steps destinations and to have choices.

‘A’ Level results

An impressive 39% of all grades were A* and A, with 69% being A*, A or B. This set of results gives students the opportunity to study their chosen courses, apprenticeships and beyond. The wide range of opportunities can be seen with the breadth of further education choices which includes courses in Criminology, Business studies with Japanese, Medical Science, Digital Forensics, Law, as well as the more traditional Sciences, Humanities, Maths and English subjects.

Executive Headteacher Annabel Kay said: “We always knew that if this group of students had been able to sit their GCSE exams they would have done amazingly well. This set of results truly reflects their hard work, resilience, and commitment. They have had such a challenging time and can be so proud of what they have achieved. I must also thank the Sixth Form staff who have given so freely of their time and expertise to support our students.”

If anyone would like to make an application to our Sixth Form to join this wonderful group of students, please contact Mr Fisher: m.fisher@warriner.oxon.sch.uk
