Show my Homework website page for help on logging in and other information.

In an effort to make it easier for parents to monitor the homework that their children have been set, we use a piece of software called ‘show my homework’.  By clicking the logo below you can access a calendar showing the homework that has been set over the past few days.

All homework set by all teachers is posted on this site .  In order to see your child’s homework you can ‘filter’ the information and to do this you will need to know either the class code or the teacher’s name for each subject.  This information is listed on your child’s timetable.  Alternatively, all students and parents have been issued with personal login details for this site and by using these, they are able to see the homework specific to them.  Parents and students having difficulty logging on should contact Mrs G Burch (Associate Assistant Headteacher) at the school

A summary of the homework expectations of all our subjects can be downloaded here: Homework-Expectations-2014-15

The amount of homework will vary from day to day and from subject to subject but, as a rule of thumb, students should receive about thirty minutes homework per two and a half hours of lesson time (so about an hour a day) in Year 7 and this should rise to about an hour per two and a half hours lesson time by Year 11.
