Do you shop on the Internet?

If you do, then you can help us raise money for our school by using our new online fundraising service TheGivingMachine. It is very simple to use and will not cost you a penny!

What is TheGivingMachine? 

TheGivingMachine (www.thegivingmachine.co.uk) is an online shopping site where retailers will make donations to our school every time you make a purchase from them.

• PC World,
• Tesco’s,
• Bodens,
• Dixons,
• Apple,
• Boots 
• John Lewis

and many others are all supporting this activity! More names are being added every week.

TheGivingMachine has been created by four parents who live locally and saw the opportunity to help us raise money for our school. We think this is a terrific idea and would like you to support this initiative. It will not cost you anything. It will take less than 2 minutes to register and then an extra click every time you shop online.

What do you have to do? 

1.  Please visit the website (http://www.thegivingmachine.co.uk) and click on Create Profile button. You will need to provide a First Name and email address only.

2. Name our school as your beneficiary from the drop down list of schools and save these settings by clicking on Update button. 

3. Then click on Go Shopping button.

Every time you go back to the site, it can remember you and take you straight to the shopping page. You must always click through from TheGivingMachine for your donation to register to us.

We would ask you to consider the following to make sure you remember to use the site:

1. Make TheGivingMachine your home page (it has Google search on it). The option is included on the Home Page of TheGivingMachine site. 
2. Add TheGivingMachine to your favourites 
3. Remove current shopping links to the shops on the site from your favourites to remind you to use TheGivingMachine as a link. If you purchase an item from these stores in another way, our school will lose out on your donation!
