The Warriner School Uniform 2009 - 10
Cross Embroidery is the sole supplier of The Warriner blazers, ties, girls’ revere collar blouses and the optional black v-neck sweater. Other items may be sourced independently or through Cross Embroidery, but must adhere to the following:
All Years Male and Female:
Male:

Plain white shirt to be tucked into the trousers

School tie * (A minimum of 7 stripes must be visible below the tie knot.)

Plain black trousers. Denim or corduroy trousers are not permitted.
Female:

Plain white revere collar blouse *

Plain black trousers or skirt (The 4 permitted styles of skirt are: Pencil, A-line, Pleat and Box Pleat. Illustrations are available and will be displayed. Skirt hems must be no more than 10cm above, or below the knee.)

Optional plain black opaque or flesh coloured tights. No knee length socks or footless tights/leggings.
Uniform Rules:

Shirt and blouse top buttons must be done up.

Unless advised differently, students will be expected to wear their blazer as follows:
To and from school. To and from lessons. At morning break. In the school canteen.
Students may remove their blazers during lessons and at lunchtime.

Students may wear a maximum of one small studded earring in each ear lobe. Earrings must be small, circular and discreet. Shaped earrings are not permitted. The school reserves the right to confiscate any that are deemed to be inappropriate. No other piercings are allowed.

No other jewellery is allowed.

Make-up, including nail varnish, is not permitted.

Outer coats must be plain, one colour, and preferably dark.

Plain dark scarves may be worn to and from school.

Garments worn under shirts/blouses must be plain white. Necklines must not be visible above shirt collars.

Any variations in uniform appropriate to different faiths should observe the colour code of the school uniform and be black.

The school does not allow students to have extreme hairstyles (including Mohicans and Shaved designs) or extreme hair colours. Students considering a hairstyle/colour that may be deemed extreme must speak to the school first.

The Headteacher will be the final arbiter on uniform issues.

Summer Uniform Rules:
The only formal change in term 6 is that sweaters are no longer an optional garment.
In the event of very warm weather the Headteacher may permit students to stop wearing their blazers, however blazers must be worn to school throughout the year.
