The Warriner School

Students entering the Sixth Form typically follow three Advanced Level courses which run over Years 12 and 13. Students will also be expected to commit to our programme of enrichment opportunities which will be timetabled alongside their academic studies.
The entry requirement for courses is a grade of at least a B in the GCSE for that subject or a grade 6; approval of subject combinations will be at the discretion of the Head of Sixth Form. Students wishing to study Further Maths must acheive a grade 7 at GCSE.  All students entering the Sixth Form must also have achieved at least a 5 grade in English and Mathematics. For courses that have no associated GCSE (e.g. Psychology) the grades achieved in other GCSEs will be taken into consideration. Please click here to see the prospectus and see attachments below for full details of subject specific requirements from 2017/18.
