Curriculum Intent

‘To promote a love of physical activity for life-long participation’

Our curriculum places a high value on knowledge. It is broad, balanced and sequenced to allow students to become physically literate:

  • Motivated
  • Confident
  • Physically competent
  • Have the knowledge and understanding to value and take responsibility for engagement in physical activity for life

Students follow a carefully sequenced curriculum, so knowledge is constantly reviewed and developed. We embody the National Curriculum Aims and ensure that all pupils experience success in their own pathway to life-long participation.
