  • September Return-to-School Testing Schedule

    Schools are once more being required to mass-test all students, with consent, on their return to school in September. This will involve 2 LFD tests in school, after which students will carrying on testing at home. The testing programme means we are having to slightly stagger the return to school for all year groups.

  • 2021 Examinations and Results Days

    On 6th January 2021, the government confirmed that in summer 2021, students taking GCSE, AS and A levels regulated by Ofqual, should be awarded grades based on an assessment by their teachers.

    Students will receive their results for A/AS levels on 10th August and GCSEs on 12th August this year. These will be face-to-face events, and will take place in the Hall and on the grass area outside the Hall. Students can collect their results from 9.00-12.00 on the morning of their results day. Key staff will be on-hand to support the process.

     On Friday we will be pausing remote learning to have an alternative day of fun and challenge away from screens! There will be no timetable lessons on this day.

    This week is Mental Health awareness week and a perfect opportunity to have alternative day. A time to reset and have a day without home-school pressures. We fully appreciate the effort and engagement our students and families have put into remote learning and feel a reset would give everyone a chance to enjoy something different!
