'Save the Children' Christmas Jumper Day

The Salvation Army in Banbury provides food parcels for families and individuals experiencing food poverty and we at The Warriner School want to help.

The Warriner School are proud to attempt our first ever ‘ Food Christmas Tree’ installation’ made up of tins of food and non-perishable items and we hope to complete this in ONE WEEK !!!

We hope that every member of our community will support our initiative and donate at least one food item.

To recognise our students contribution we would like to offer one house point to every student for every item donated. i.e. the more you donate the more house points !!

We are collecting until Friday 13th December.

All donations can either be dropped to main reception or the Drama Department.

(please remember to let a staff member know how many items you have brought in so we can allocate house points)

Our ‘food tree’ will stand proudly in our main reception until it is all dropped to The Salvation Army in the last week of term.

‘Save the Children’ Christmas Jumper Day

Christmas Jumper Day on Friday 13th December will be in aid of Save the Children with a minimum donation of £1 per person.

Save the Children have also requested that we do not buy a brand new jumper for this. Instead, we should re-use an older one, make our own or go to a charity shop to see if they have any in there. This is a great opportunity to think about our impact on the environment or be especially creative if making our own!

Students must wear the jumper under their blazers and on top of their standard uniform.

Donations to be paid via ParentPay in the usual manner.
