Ofqual and the Department for Education (DfE) have confirmed that the arrangements for GCSEs and A Levels for Summer 2023 will largely reflect normal, pre-pandemic arrangements. There will be no advance information and a return to full subject coverage with students studying and assessed on all the usual topics and content. Additionally, students will carry out the normal non-exam assessment activities. Ofqual have confirmed that exam boards will provide formulae and revised equation sheets for GCSE mathematics, physics and combined science exams in 2023 as was provided in 2022. There will be a return to pre-pandemic grading but with protection for students. Exam boards have set aside the afternoons of 8th and 15th June, and on 28th June as 'contingency days' in the unlike event that exams had to be moved. Students need to be available on these days.

Ofqual have published a letter to students, parents and carers which details support for Summer 2023 exams.  Letter to students - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)
