On Monday 30th January Years 7 and 8 received an assembly from Year 8 student Tyler Vu and his father on the Chinese New Year, as we enter the year of the rooster.
The assembly was a really interesting account of both the history of and customs associated with the Chinese New Year. The highlight was most definitely Tyler's demonstration of a lion dance. Their presentation is below. With grateful thanks to Tyler and Mr Vu for their time and effort. The assembly will also be accredited for Tyler's PiXL Edge profile, so is real inspiration for other students to follow suit.
